Starter terms. Have these checked by a lawyer before relying on them.

Stream terms

These terms are between you (the business using Stream) and CM & VP Industries ("we"), who provide Stream.

1. Your subscription

• Stream is a monthly subscription, charged in Australian dollars. Prices include GST.
• Your plan depends on how many active staff you have. If you grow past your plan's limit, we'll ask you to move up a plan.
• Payments are taken by Stripe, by card, at the start of each month of service.

2. Free trial

New businesses get a 14-day free trial. No card is needed. At the end of the trial you choose a plan to keep going. If you don't, your Stream pauses and your data is kept.

3. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from Billing in Stream. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't give refunds for part months.

4. Fair use

Use Stream for running your own business. Don't use it to break the law, send spam, store content you don't have the right to, try to get into other businesses' data, or put unreasonable load on the service. We may limit or stop use that does.

5. Your data

• You own the data you and your team put into Stream.
• We only use it to run Stream for you, keep it secure and help when you ask us to.
• The owner can download a copy at any time, and we'll export it for you on request.

6. Missed payments

If a payment fails, you have 7 days' grace to update your card. After that we may suspend your Stream until it's paid. Suspending never deletes your data.

7. The service

We work hard to keep Stream running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will never be unavailable or free of errors. We may change or improve features over time, and we'll tell you before we remove anything important.

They're general information, not financial, tax or legal advice. Check important decisions with your accountant or adviser.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything to do with Stream is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell the owner at least 30 days before it applies.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia.
